I'm sorry for the radio silence. I was busy moving house. And anyone who has done the same, knows that things take a while to get back to normal (read: you put your laptop in a box and have NO idea which one).
But alas, I'm here, and have been avidly watching the AW16 catwalks from around the world - obviously. There's LOTS I want to talk about, too much in fact, but one collection that stood out in particular is Jacquemus, the eponymous label launched by Simon Porte Jacquemus only a few years ago.
He loves comical shapes and details, which sometimes are a little too much, but now, with many seasons on the catwalk circuit under his belt, he has honed them into something actually wearable!
Anyway, here are the 5 style takeaways I'm obsessed with from the new collection...
1. Half half jackets
2. Dissected and held together with bows
3. Clown prints, and spaghetti straps over shirting
4. Wooden block heels
5. Oversize sleeves
