{DISCLOSURE 2} I never considered myself the nautical stripes kinda person until I saw this top.
I've just been on a cruise holiday for Mummy G's 60th birthday, and I wanted a statement, camp, 'first day on boat' novelty striped something, and I ended up loving it more than I thought!
Also, I've always lived by the rule that you should never wear horizontal stripes if you're over sample size. This top smashed that rule into pieces. So, ignore me.
I don't look too round, do I?
This holiday saw a few firsts for me: wearing white on a beach, eating three rounds of toast before midday, drinking 5 frozen Miami Vices before 1pm, wearing stripes and meaning it.
It will still remain one of those eye-rolling trends for me though - 'nautical' ALWAYS comes round every year.
Predictable fashion maybe, but not for me!
