(If you know, you know!)So not only has Rupaul gone and won himself two Emmys this year, released news of the Christmas special of Rupaul's Drag Race, AND announced the brand new All Stars 4 cast (see here), but three of the most iconic queens from the show's recent 'herstory' have only gone and done an amazing Christmas campaign for Lush Cosmetics!
Sadly this one is USA only, but that hasn't stopped me sniffing (pun intended) it out! It's been all over the US site and social!Kim Chi, Detox and Shea Couleé have painted their faces, pulled on the glitz, the tights and the heels for this Christmas special. And it's AHHMAAAZING!Focusing on bath, the girls were asked to create a look based around their favourite festive products. Kim Chi had the Cheery Christmas Bath Bomb, Star Light Star Bright bath melt and Sleepy shower gel in mind when putting her above look together (note all the colour clashes on her dress).
Detox chose Shoot For The Stars bath bomb, Yog Nog Yule Log bubble bar and Golden Pear soap for her Dripping Luxury look. Note the colour coordination with her wig and bath bombs!“My look is a little vintage and nostalgic, kind of like ‘50s glamour housewife, hosting a holiday party…with Lush product.”EVERYTHING.
And Shea took the Classic Christmas look and dragified it, with the Candy Cane bubble car, Santa Bomb Bomb Bath Bomb and the Butter Bear bath bomb. Gotta love the stripes!To be honest, I'm not sure why we don't get this over in the UK... Drag Race is HUGE over here now too... did anyone else notice all 1-9 seasons are back on Netflix now? It's a shame really, WE FEEL DEPRIVED, LUSH!But we could just watch this video on repeat I guess...
