CAMP! Met Gala 2019 - Other delights on the night!
OK OK, no more after this one about the Met Gala 2019, I promise.There were just a fewwwww more looks I wanted to talk about at lengthvery quickly. And just to be clear once again, camp is open to interpretation, it's subjective, BUT what we do know is that it should be an exaggerated, over the top version of yourself and reality.With that in mind, here are some other faves...

He says in the video below that he wasn't trying to top his Oscars look, just do his version of camp, and my god did it all work out for him. I swear I have a dream most nights of me entering events in the exact same way! What a look!

Is there anything more camp than wearing a blown up portrait of yourself, whilst paying homage to Lady Liberty? I think not!

They look like an extension of all his work... perfectly put together, camp in the highest form. Just perfect! Can I be you when I'm older please?
ZAZIE BEETZ IN THOM BROWNE
I'm so sorry Zazie, but I have NO idea who you are (should I know her?), but I have to say, this look is MAGICAL! And you can only appreciate it by looking at it 360. Half wedding dress, half groom suit. Like everything Thom Browne does, it's campery in its most fashion form, and actually bloody gorgeous! To be honest, I wish I wore THIS for my wedding.
HAILEE STEINFELD WEARING VIKTOR AND ROLF
I was so hoping to see one of the spectacular dresses from V&R's most recent couture show on the red carpet, and I love that is was Hailee! She's 22, and if THIS is he version of camp, she has a long old camp career ahead of her! What a dress!
BETTE MIDLER AND DAUGHTER, SOPHIE, WEARING MICHAEL KORS
When the word camp is bandied about, certain people just appear from the ground, like magic: Liza Minnelli, Cher, Dolly Parton and BETTE MIDLER! There were, of course, sequins, there were hats, there were flamingos. Bette Tweeted this pic of them both. OBSESSED! And I didn't even love the dresses that much, just LOVE her. Love them!
