Its difficult to see the resemblance between the little teenage wand-waving white witch (Hermione Granger) that we have seen for years in the Harry Potter films and this elegant, visually-stunning young woman - but they are, in fact, the same person!
Emma Watson was commissioned by Italian Vogue as a high fashion model for their September issue and pictured her dressed in some incredible pieces. The shoot was photographed by Mark Seliger, chief photographer for the Rolling Stones from 1992 to 2002. According to her agent there is an increasingly high demand for her in the fashion modelling world now, probably spurred on by her jaunts on many a red carpet dressed in amazing designer gowns.
Watson says of her Vogue adventure "The photo shoot was a fascinating experience. I was very excited to work with Vogue for the first time, but also to be given the chance to model couture".
"I enjoyed the fact that Mark treated me like he would have done any other model and pushed to get the best out of me. I learnt a lot and have found a whole new respect for the hard work models put into their work and for couture. A love affair has begun"
Maybe, hopefully, we will see more of Watson in couture... I think it's a real good look for her!
