To celebrate her 50th birthday, Christian Louboutin, the King of the heels, is set to design a pair of shoes in Barbie's honour. The shoes will be made in the infamous Barbie Pink pantone number 219 and will be made specially for a unique fashion show taking place in February as part of New York Fashion week. The fashion show will focus purely on Barbie's chosen couture over her 5 decades and will see designers creating full size gowns inspired by the plastic beauty.
