A rather fabulous woman sat down next to me with an even more fabulous leather jacket on. I couldn't help but to talk to her. She was the lovely Lauren from vogue.com, and her jacket was vintage. But never mind that, the lights went on, the ghetto tunes blasted out and Henry Holland's autumn winter collection arrived.
The usual fash pack gathered on the front row (Pixie, Alexa, Nicola Roberts et al), and there was, apart from Nicola - she never smiles, smiles all round. Bandana paisley print was the chosen string that held the show together, along with shearling stripes around denim and a leather dress. In fact Holland loves a stripe, we seem to see them every season from him, and this was no different. Fierce striped wedge shoes from Charlottle Olympia were worn by every model; black and white, green and white and grey and white.
"The House of Holland girl goes downtown" read the show notes. Not a truer word spoken!
Love the bandana looped earrings and necklaces Henry. Actually, loved it all. As did Lauren from vogue.com.
