I felt it my obligation to post a quickie about Jena Theo's collection because a) I loved it b) Vogue.com and style.com haven't and c) I loved it... oops, said that!
Anyway, give me a collection that involves shades of purple (my favourite colour), some draping and knotting (my preffered detailing) and an Indian undertone (the colours and music are uncomparable) and you've got my attention. The Indian jeweled/beaded cuffs that attached ankles to trouser legs and wrists to sleeves were a charming detail, as was the gold leaf detail on the model's bodies.
Purple won my vote, and in fact the movement yet knotted-ness of the whole collection was so nice to see. Loved the bullet holder detail too!
