On the eternal quest to bring you, lovely reader, some interesting fashion, never have I come across bags like these. Yes, I've seen every kind of high end bag possible over the last six years or so - thousands of pounds worth of crocodile Birkins, furry Fendis and glittery Dolces - and millions of high street options too. But these, by JumpFromPaper, are truly unique. You might be thinking What the hell's he on about? Give me back my Birkins, but honestly, I've stared at these bags for hours this week now, trying to figure out how they actually work. The website even states: "JumpFromPaper’s unusual and funky exterior confuses people". I've seen pictures of people wearing them (below) and have been just as mesmerized. They are quite fascinating.  It's no surprise that the creators, Chay Su and Rika Lin from Taiwan, "love cartoons, comic books, animations and comedy manga". It's quite obvious that, in fact, they might be obsessed with all things 2D. How they managed to translate that to an everyday accessory though is quite brilliant. They might not be to everyone's taste, but I think I might have to order one of the bags, just to actually see one in the flesh. I'm still totally fascinated!bonjour-open travelfever-open
