He's been a bit of a fashion icon for me ever since bursting onto the music scene after American Idol fame, wearing whatever he liked - usually something black, spiked, draped and/or low-crotched - and self-styled most of the time, so it was no surprise that I LOVED Adam Lambert's wardrobe choices from Saturday's Life Ball in Austria.Teaming with theme of the night - 1001 Arabian Nights - Adam opted for an all-black ensemble for his red carpet arrival. A semi-sheer shirt, INCREDIBLE structural Mugler jacket and perfect harem trousers for the theme (erm, can I borrow them please Adam?). The only thing I hated about this look is those boots. PLEASE leave them to Janet Jackson next time. They make him look shorter than he is, and just don't go with this at all.Maybe a gorgeous pair of embroidered Louboutin slippers would work better?

For his epic stage performance of 'Love Wins Over Glamour' (so not true!), exclusively written for the Life Ball, Adam chose a fabulously authentic Marco Marco outfit, consisting of a feathered turban (yes please), a sparkly, embellished floor length coat (YES PLEASE) and matching shoes. This whole look was custom-made for Adam. Here's the performance...A truly unique performer, dresser and artist. I'd VERY much like to raid his wardrobe. Think of the all the glamour!
Yours truly, The VSG x
