OK so I've had Paloma Faith on my blog off feature before, I actually think she was the first one, but it's only because she wears such amazing, unique things. And personally, I think she's the only celeb in the UK who pushes any fashion boundaries and always looks truly fabulous. Here's Paloma from earlier this week at the Wave 105 music event in Bournemouth. She's wearing a mesmerizing Ivana Pilaj uber structured, moulded tulip skirt with an Aqua shoulder pad bodysuit. It's another dramatic look from the songstress, but what do some blogger friends make of it...

Only Paloma Faith could pull off a skirt this dramatic! The Ivana Pilja design is truly spectacular and (thankfully) has been carefully balanced with simple black heels and a subtle, structured top. I also really like Paloma's headscarf - I might have to copy that look for summer, it's so retro chic!

The puff-ball skirt is like a pantomime dame. The sci-fi top gives her alien shoulders. And war-time washer-woman head scarves only ever looked good on Amy Winehouse - and even with her only when she was hovering her doorway for the paparazzi in her dressing gown with a cigarette in her hand. No no no. Hate it.

What I love about Paloma is that she doesn't shy away from fashion and wearing emerging designers. This tulip skirt by Ivana Pilja is perfection, I love the moody print, I adore how it makes her waist look even tinier and slims her legs, not that she needed it, and how it works perfectly with the dramatic shoulders of her top. This is a great look from Paloma, I just wish she hadn't worn the head scarf.

SHIT. Sorry, but OMG, what an AMAZING look! It's so dramatic, so epic, just like Paloma herself. I agree with Ella, I love that the skirt does all the talking, no need for busy on top. And that skirt! The proportions shouldn't work, but THEY SO DO!! If you have time, have a look at more from Ivana, truly an amazing talent. And isn't it brilliant how Paloma champions new designers? Friggin' love her!
