OK, confessions time:1. I'm not too sure who Sonam Kapoor is2. I think I'm over the floral trendHowever, Sonam, an Indian actress (I Googled her, and actually asked an Indian friend who she was and she told me: "She's a really annoying actress but is s style icon now in India"), totally wowed me, and the red carpet, last night at the Cannes Film Festival.And I don't even mind the florals.And here's why - Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana have TOTALLY outdone themselves with this dress in terms of shape (that booby-cinched-in-waist-A-line silhouette is a favourite of mine), colour (is it a duck-egg blue? Is it off-white?) and print (the flowers are MASSIVE and not those horrible cartoon-y ones seen everywhere).Sonam is totally working this dress exactly how it's meant to be worked - from every angle. I wish E! bought their 360 degree cam to Cannes!
