And it takes quite a lot for me to get excited about a Tee!In a genius collaboration, David Bailey - the world renowned photographer - has teamed up with an East London design and fashion initiative - The Bleach Room - to launch a series of T shirts with some of Bailey's most iconic shots printed onto them.This collection of T shirts comes just as an exhibition in his honor - the largest of his career to date - opened yesterday at the National Portrait Gallery.
The printed Tees include images of Mick Jagger, Johnny Depp, Michael Caine, John Lennon and yeh, my two favourites, Boy George and Grace Jones. Anything with these two printed on I pretty much own now.Of this collection, Bailey said: "I think it’s quite nice that everyone can have a t-shirt that has an image with some history behind it.” And at only £70 each, they are well worth it!
