Never mind the girls in the their gowns, it was all about Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson and his bright blue Richard Jame suit. He really bought the colour to this red carpet.I do love Samuel's look here, the blue on him is great, and that shirt is brilliant teamed with it, but it's just that green silk tie that's putting me off. I say NO to the tie. He doesn't need one! Also, I much prefer the shoes that the model is wearing on the catwalk (see below).Anyway, those are my thoughts, but what did some blogger mates think? Ohhh man, Samuel is a great example of a guy who wears a look with great confidence. On the vast majority of us mere mortals this outfit would look totally ridic, but Sam L busts it with true style!

I quite like this. It's a refreshing piece of summer menswear fun, but he still looks put together. I like how the tie and shirt brings out the green of the suit. The one button jacket makes it more evening than daytime, the only negative is the trousers could be more tapered and the shoes are a little healthcare worker.

A lot of colours going on here, but I am not really feeling the blue/green shade of the suit, I think it is quite a difficult colour to pull off. I like the mutti coloured shirt underneath but the bright green silk tie kind of clashed with it. I love colours, but I think there were too many going on here.
