When I was a kid at school, I was obsessed with wearing glasses. I remember my mum taking me to the optician after I begged her to get my eyes tested because I wanted a pair so badly. I somehow tricked the optician to believe that I didn't have 20:20 vision... think it was a case of saying a few letters wrong when reading the chart.Anyway, I got glasses in the end. However, because my mum knew I didn't really need them, she only got me the horrid NHS frames. I still remember them, grey, plastic and hideous (think Mrs. Brown's Boys). I accidentally on purpose snapped them in half during a science lesson and that was the end of them.Fast forward, erm, a few years and I do now actually need glasses. My eyesight isn't terrible, it's only my right eye that needs a little help, but seeing as we all just sit in front of a computer screen now, I'm not surprised I need them. And thanks to people like Samantha Jones (and Dame Edna), glasses are considered a fashion accessory now.Which is why when amazing Specsavers asked me to chose a pair of glasses and sunglasses from their collab with Scandi brand Cheap Monday to use in an outfit shoot, I jumped at the chance! It's quite hard to think of ways to show them off, but as an avid Jackie Collins fan, I soon found a way...
