Since developing my obsession for Oud, I never thought I'd love another fragrance again that didn't have it in. How wrong I was. Thanks to Antonio Alessandria and his Noir Obscur Parfum.I found this beauty in Fenwick, Bond Street. Their fragrance buy is incredible, especially niche brands like this one. Antonio Alessandria is exclusive to Fenwick. I was instantly drawn to the bottles, they're so luxe and gorgeous and unusual. And I know you should never judge a fragrance by the bottle, so it's just as well that the juice inside is beyond amazing. Noir Obscur is heady in an Oriental, spicy way. Not to get all technical, but notes include: orange, rum absolute, Bulgarian rose, jasmine, incense and amber. So it definitely packs a punch. The moment it went onto my skin, I thought of the Fornasetti candle scent, Otto. It's the fragrance equivalent. So gorgeous. And strangely nice to smell like one of my all time favourite candles!Antonio is Italian, and his three main fragrances - Nacre Blanche, Nuit Rouge and this, Noir Obscur, are available at Fenwick. His obsession with night time influences the characteristic letter N for all fragrances.Go and smell this one, and hold the bottle. It deserves your attention.
