Hey!

Welcome to The Very Simon G. My blog has been going for nearly a decade, but there ain’t getting away from me just yet! Come in for fashion, fun and everything in between. Enjoy!

The best 'It' bag I've seen for a long time...

I found this Savas Milano bag on one of my many visits to Fenwick Bond Street. Obviously I gay gasped at it, picked it up, walked round the store with it, didn't want to put it down again and haven't stopped thinking about it since...image1 (8)The Swedish brand, of which I can find very little about online, is steeped in both classic leather and great design. In fact, the website, which doesn't seem to be up to date, tells us: "The name Savas represents a twofold interpretation of both tradition and novelty.
On the one hand, a strong tradition of Italian leather: high quality materials, fine craftsmanship, attention to detail and finishing. On the other hand, the originality of style: nordic design, minimalist, functional and elegant in its simplicity."This bag is definitely all about the novelty - we've seen the basket bags recently with Chanel - but not in a Jeremy Scott for Moschino way. These are super chic, in gorgeous colours. Yes, the four zips might leave your hands cut to shreds after a taking out your phone and putting in your sunnies, but you can't not love them!Fenwick have a few colour ways in store now, and I've found one, in black, on Vestiaire Collective. I also found these images on Pinterest and Instagram...de99e16be17286cc56a4be5193417d0e11116746_1434777220168111_365811923_ne79eb6f9dd3aa14ec310cf492aeb500a28794410838552_1076380689044642_1063398447_n
