Viktor & Rolf are artists before they are fashion designers. They have always professed this. Fashion comes out of their art. And it shows in their runway shows. They closed the ready-to-wear side of the business a while ago, much to everyone's sadness, to concentrate on their couture art collections, and for Spring '16, there was bucket loads of it. In the shape of Picasso-esque faces.Lots and lots of them.Anyway, the fabulous people at site Moda Operandi - the retailer who makes it possible to buy into (or at least pre-order) collections soon after they have been shown on catwalks or look books, way before they end up in shops - have teamed up with Viktor & Rolf to offer a small but perfectly formed capsule couture collection - all the Cs!HOW FRIGGIN' AMAZING????I don't think there has been another stunt like this before when it comes to couture. It's a clever move from V&R, considering they don't have a ready-to-wear line now. This is the closest to one!
